New Product Review - Chalk Factory Sidewalk Chalk By Rose Art

A moms review:

There is nothing more fun in the Summertime than playing with sidewalk chalk. But wait there is....playing with sidewalk chalk shaped like your favorite yummy treats. Have you seen the NEW Rose Art Chalk Factory sidewalk chalk yet? There are 3 sets Frosty Favorites, Candy Confections and Perfect Pastries featuring 16 designs check them all out on the Rose Art Pinterest Board. Many of the chalks are multicolored which my kids thought was great for making rainbows when they held the chalk on its side. Each yummy treat has a stick which makes them easy to hold. These chalks are "super sweet" and write and draw wonderfully! Recommended for children age 6 and up. But even moms will have fun with these sidewalk chalks (the cat face drawing in the photo below is mine). And if the neighbors catch you just "chalk it up" to your inner child.

Some fun chalk ideas and games:
-Play hopscotch (need a rock or bean bag)
-Play hangman
-Play tic-tac-toe
-Play four square (need a ball)
-Play save the king (need a ball)
-Make a target and try to toss an object onto the target (need a ball, bean bag or rock)
-Make an obstacle course or maze
-Trace shadows
-Make animal footprints
-Just have fun drawing - rainbows, silly faces, animals, etc
-Make sandpaper art
-Draw a nighttime scene on black construction paper
-For some science and history fun teach your kids all about chalk

And my favorite thing about sidewalk chalk is "by a long chalk" the EASY clean up. Just let the rain do the work for you or get out the hose.

What the kids say:
My kids said they looked yummy enough to eat...luckily they know NOT to eat chalk. Gwyn gave the chalk an A+ (see photo above).

Where to buy:
Rose Art Chalk Factory sidewalk chalks can be purchases at Target, Walmart for $4.88.
