5 Days Of Learning With Legos - Lego Brick Busters (aka Boredom Busters)

Even the most creative child can hit a slump some days. I don't know about you but I hate hearing that dreaded phrase, "Mom I'm Bored." So I have created some Lego boredom buster cards.

This is a FREE printable Brick Buster cards I created for my children. The cards have both words and pictures so even children who cannot read, can utilize these cards. Just print the cards, cut them out and place them in a container (you can laminate them too for added durability). Here is a FREE printable Brick Busters label for your container as well. Next time your Lego lover says he/she is bored send them to the Lego Brick Buster Jar!

You can also use these cards to play games with. There are a few ways you could play the brick buster game...here is how we played:

1) Draw one card from the container.
2) Next set a timer for 10 minutes.
3) Each person playing has to make a Lego creation that corresponds with the chosen card.
4) The first person to finish their creation is the winner.
5) If no one finishes their creation you can either just play again or you can decide who came the closest to finishing and dub them the winner.

I am sure you can come up with many other ways to utilize these in your home...if you think of one or a few leave a blog post comment below along with your name (or website) and I will add it to this post and give you credit.
