Top Ten Places To Take Nature Walks in North GA

Top Ten Tuesday at Many Little Blessings

Last week I shared Top 10 Places To Get Great Homeshcool Books. This week I am sharing 10 awesome places to take nature walks in North GA. I know not all my readers live in the North GA area but for those out of the area if you ever plan to visit or pass through you should definitely check these places out.

All of the trails at these places are FREE to visit with the exception of the State/National parks which do require a parking fee (noted below). Many of these places also offer homeschool classes which I hope to be posting about throughout the year. Have you seen my exploring nature and nature journaling post?

1) Elachee Nature Center
2) Suwnee Mountain Preserve
3) Amicolola Falls - State Park ($5 parking fee)
4) Big Tree Preserve
5) Chattahoochee Nature Center
6) Vickery Creek and Roswell Mill
7) Dunwoody Nature Center
8) Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center
9) Autrey Mill
10) Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - National Park ($3 parking fee)

Thanks for stopping by!
