Family Pizza Night With Marco's Pizza

As you know you are on a Paleo/Primal diet, but there is one night each month were we cheat a little and indulge...family pizza night! We are a family of 4 pizza lovers! When I was pregnant with my daughter pizza was my food craving and my husband and I ate pizza at least once a week! So of course my daughter loves pizza, it's what she ate the most of when she was in the womb. She is now 8 and can almost eat a medium all my herself! Her second birthday party was a pizza themed party complete with a giant cookie cake decorated like a pizza. See I told you we love pizza! After our son came along we decided to start our once a month pizza and movie night family tradition. It's the one night the kids are allowed to eat at the coffee table in the living room!

But finding the perfect pizza can be a challenge sometimes. I don't know about you, but I prefer authentic Italian pizza with lots of gooey cheese. fresh ingredients, hearty sauce and delicious crispy crust! Well after years of searching we found our perfect pizzeria, Marco's Pizza.

The pizza has tender grilled chicken, parmesan garlic sauce, four gooey cheeses, fresh spinach, large sliced tomatoes, and chopped red onions all piled on top of fresh handmade dough! The pizza is so filling that you only need 1-2 slices! It was delizioso!

For our second pizza we went with a three cheese blend pizza topped with fresh spinach. Did you know Marco's Pizza is now offering fresh spinach as a topping on ANY pizza? We all loved this pizza too. It was simple, yet tasty and amazing.

Because the pizzas are so hearty and filling we actually had leftovers (which hardly ever happens). So the next day we had Marco's Pizza for lunch. It tasted great the second time around too, even cold!

The kids had the Cesar Salad Kit. The kit included dressing, cheese and croutons. They both agreed that the salad was very tasty and they each went back for seconds. These salad kits are perfect for a quick meal or even an on-the-go meal! Because eating out has become more difficult for us (it is very hard to find healthy fast food) we often take salad with us on our adventures. Gwyn loved the salad so much she even made herself a breakfast salad the next morning. Her creation was a Cesar Salad topped with grapes, oranges and ranch dressing!

I had the Farmer's Garden Salad. This salad comes Butter Lettuce, Red Leaf Lettuce, Grape Tomatoes, Carrots, Radishes. I agree with my husband, the salad was much crispier and fresher than our normal brand! I tend to go with Spinach normally as my salad choice, but I really wanted to try something a little different and I am glad I did. The butter lettuce is divine!

I highly recommend Fresh Express Salads. They are healthy and great tasting. Salad is the perfect healthy dinner for those busy days...you know the ones I'm talking about moms!
