Introducing Weird But True Graphic Tees From Crazy 8 + A Giveaway #Crazy8Kid #NatGeoInsider

A few weeks ago we received a package from our friends over at National Geographic. Inside were 2 fun, unique "Weird But True" graphic tees from Crazy 8. Crazy 8 is the newest addition to The Gymboree Corporation family of brands. They offer fashionable outfits at a great price for girls and boys sizes Newborn to 14. They currently have 300 stores as well as their online store. I must admit this was the first time I heard about Crazy 8 and after browsing their website I think I might have a new favorite store for children's clothing.

One of our family's favorite clothing items are graphic tees! So when we found out that National Geographic partnered with Crazy 8 to create a new line of "Weird But True," graphic tees we were really excited. The 'Weird But True" books are one of my kids favorites! The kids had a hard time choosing which one they wanted to review and honestly I was a little disappointed that they didn't come in a size large enough for me (though I might just have to give the boys 14 a try). After much debate and careful consideration they went with the Porcupine and Shark tees (shhh don't tell them I will be buying the rest for them). There are currently 8 different tees to choose from....and we are really hoping the add more to the line! Each one teaches a "Weird But True" fascinating fact. So not only can your kids be fashionable, but they can also learn and teach others some interesting fun facts about animals, space and human anatomy.

  • A baby porcupine is called a porcupette.
  • Girls have more taste buds than boys.
  • Butterflies taste food with their feet.
  • Astronauts can’t whistle on the moon.
  • Spiders have clear blood.
  • Sharks have eight senses. Humans only have five.
  • No one knows what color dinosaurs were.
  • Gorillas burp when they are happy

The tees fit true to size even after washing...and we have washed them a lot since receiving them. So far the graphics are holding up nicely and have not showed any signs of cracking, like some iron on graphics tend to do. One of my daughter's first observations about the tees was that they are very soft and comfortable. These bold tees are the perfect summer gear for you energetic kids.

Visit your local Crazy 8 store to pick up these fun shirts and get a FREE mini “Weird But True” book with every shirt purchase. While supplies last.

What is your favorite “Weird But True” shirt?
