Vimbly is a New York based company that provides users with a 10 minute (or less) option for finding and booking thousands of activities, classes and date ideas! Vimbly launched a little over a year ago after co-founder Sam Lundin wasted hours trying to find an intro photography class. Since the creation of the website Vimbly has been featured on Fox News, CBS, USA Today, Business Insider and more. Learn more about the Vimbly team members.

A moms review:
Planning fun family activities just got easier with Vimbly. Vimbly is a website that has been making headlines. They are currently helping people save money and time in 4 major cities Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. I am patiently waiting for them to add Atlanta (hint, hint).

So what does Vimbly do? Well they compile activities including tours, shows, dancing, cooking, glassblowing, pizza making, learning to DJ, improv, samurai sword fighting and more in one easy to find place. The website shows open time slots for the activities, classes & date ideas by various businesses on a single page and even lets you book directly! It is the perfect website for indecisive, overwhelmed people like me.

So what does this mean for busy, on the go, homeschoolers? Well it makes finding fun, family friendly activities in these key cities easier. Don't live in one of these areas but are perhaps planning a trip to one? Well then make Vimbly your first stop for your trip activity planning! We all know that homeschool moms deserve a night out every now and then so be sure to swing by Vimbly to plan that a special date night with the hubby or fun moms night out!

Vimbly just launched in Las Vegas so I thought I would check out what Vegas has to offer. I am dreaming of a trip to Las Vegas so I decided to do a little pre-planning for my very distant future trip!

To make searching easy there are numerous categories on the left hand side with options such as excursions, family friendly, outdoor activities, cultural tours, etc. Under each category there are additional sub-categories. For example under Live Entertainment there is comedy, family friendly, theater, shows and musicals and Cirque Du Soleil. I selected family friendly as my category.

After you select a category or enter a search criteria you can then narrow down the list of activities
by date, price and time.

Now comes the fun part seeing what fun adventures await. Below is a screen shot of some of the family friendly activities that popped up. There were a total of 10 events for this week that showed in the search. Some other awesome family activities I found were Blue Man Group Show, Desert Safari Hummer Tour, Cirque Du Soleil Shows, Hoover Dam Hummer Tours, Morning Maverick Horseback Ride and way too many more to list. Yup I'm totally am ready to go to Las Vegas now!

The Red Rock Canyon Tour sounded awesome (and totally fits our love for the outdoors) so I clicked on the link to find out more. All of the details you need for the activity are displayed on one easy to read screen. You can find the price, duration, tour times available, map and more details about the activity. If the activity is just what you are looking for you simply hit the green book online button and your done! At the very bottom are more recommended activities. The website works great on mobile devices too!

Okay now here is the really cool part, and what makes Vimbly in my book the best and only way to find and book your activities in these cities...The Vimbly Handshake! What is the Vimbly Handshake? Well it is a guarantee that you will be satisfied with your booking. Vimbly will refund your money if you have a bad experience. Yup you read that right!. If in the unlikely situation you have a bad experience they will make it right by refunding you your money even though the money has already gone to the vendor. Why? Well Vimbly is all about building a community of happy customers and their customers are their #1 priority. As someone who worked 15+ years in the customer service industry I highly commend them for this!

I love this so much!! There are probably a lot of great things I could find to do in my area, but everyone mostly talks about theme parks. Theme parks are awesome - but for homeschooling, I love finding experiences that are more ecucational.

I never knew until I quit my job just how hard it is to plan family activities. It can take a ton of time and aggravation! This service is now on my "check it out" list.
