Top 10 Favorite Board Games

Top Ten Tuesday at Many Little Blessings

Last week I shared Top 10 Reasons We Homeschool. This week I am sharing the Top 10 Favorite Board Games.

We have been incorporating more board games into our homeschool days. It is a great way to either start or end our days and its educational too (most time). Here are 10 of our family's favorite games that we play over and over again.

1) All 3 playPlay games - read our review here. These games are very educational and lots of fun.
2) Memory - pretty much any of them are fun we own about 4 versions great for memorization skills.
3) Dominos - great for counting, math facts and building.
4) Boggle Jr. - great for reading and letter recognition.
5) Hungry Hungry Hippos - great for counting and goes great with Africa or Hippo unit study.
6) Endangered Wildlife - great for learning science and geography facts (be sure to check out the other awesome games from EMA). I met the wonderful owners of EMA games at the Teach Them Diligently Conference earlier this year.
7) Mancala - great for counting and strategy.
8) Roll and Write Word Game - great for reading skills (buy this at Lakeshore using the Teachers Club Card).
9) Cat in the Hat Game - great for reading, rhyming, letter recognition and color recognition.
10) Aftershock - great for color recognition and strategy.
