September 3 in 30 Challenge - Week 2

Another decent week even though I only accomplished two goals. Feeling a bit stressed this week over the move that will be occuring at the end of October, money and my husbands job transition (YES he got the new job). Haven't been getting much sleep again which is really interferring with my motivation to get packing done, blogging and even weekly school preparations. I keep telling my self it will all work out and I cannot wait for the end of October to get here so that things get back to normal.

1. Organize my recipes - Haven't touched it and frankly not sure I will becuase its all getting thrown into a box for the move. Maybe when I unpack at the new place I will organize it.

2. Keep up with the Seasons of a Mothers Heart book club -
I have joined the Home With The Boys book club and have finished three chapters so far. I am really enjoying the book. You can read my posts here. I don't have my chapter 3 post done yet but hope to by tomorrow.

3. Find my children's learning styles -
We another great week and I am really starting to learn how my children like to learn! I've definitly got two hands on kids on my hands.
View my past goals.

Any encouraging words are always appreciated!

Mine are hands on, tactile learners too!!

I wouldn't worry about the recipes - maybe you can pare down when you pack!!

When it comes to the recipes, I'd take some time before you move to at least sort out the ones you won't use so that you don't end up taking it with you on the move! Maybe as you pack them up, you can organize them?

Hurray for the new job!

I agree that you should consider at least a pre-organization purge before the move. You'll be happier on the other end.

So far, Jonathan seems to be more visual/aural. Makes such a different when you know how they learn.

Learning styles...ah fun stuff! I agree with everyone else on a pre-move recipe purge.

Sounds like you're making some good progress even in the midst of the stresses of new job, moving, finances, etc.

We've moved many times, so I know what it's like to try and keep a semi-normal life going while packing and making arrangements. You've been in my heart and prayers the last couple of days, and I'll keep praying for you!

@LisaThanks Lisa this is our 6th move since living in GA 10 yrs. We haven't found where we belong and unfortunately Ben hasn't found a job that he is happy with.
